- One book, end to end: a structured text such as the Ezusts' book beats scattered tutorials.
- Type, then compare: type listings yourself before checking against the downloaded code.
- A machine that compiles quickly: Qt builds are much faster on a recent laptop with enough memory; refurbished business laptops are a good-value option.
